The adorable cat-themed Post-it note dispenser
I have been finding a lot of really good cat mom gift ideas lately. But this one might be my favorite, purely functional, one so far. It’s a cat shaped Post-it note dispenser from the actual official Post-it 3M brand. I personally think it matters because you know it’s going to work the way it’s supposed to. Also, the refills are going to be easy to find forever.
The design is really clean and modern. It’s bright glossy white, and the cat has this little expression on it with a slight head tilt and a tiny smile. The little whiskers just makes it feel less like an office supply and more like something you’d actually want sitting on your desk. It comes packaged in a box already. So if you’re giving it as a gift you basically just need to throw some ribbon on it and you’re done.
The Post-it notes are included
It also comes with its first pad of Post-it notes included, the standard 3×3 pink ones. So, refilling it when you run out is genuinely simple. You push a little button down to compress it, slide the new pad in between the cat’s paws, and then the button pops back out and holds everything in place. Took about five seconds.
The weighted base is the detail that really got me though. There are little beads inside that you can actually hear when you shake it. The added weight allows you to you pull a note out one handed without the whole thing sliding across your desk. It just stays put while you grab the note. That may sound like a small thing, but if you’ve ever fought with other regular Post-it pad while trying to write something down you’ll appreciate it immediately.
It’s a really great find for anyone with a home office. But also for that cat person in your life who also happens to be a very organized cat person. Currently $14.93 on Amazon and it feels like a much more substantial item than that price would suggest.
