The two pack retractable wand
So this one was a pleasant surprise. The MeoHui retractable cat wand comes in a two pack. The first thing I noticed is just how many attachments it comes with, like an almost ridiculous amount of little feathery floofy jingly things. All of it clips onto the wand with this hook system that makes swapping them out really easy. You can even stack multiple attachments together which I did not expect.
The retractable part is genuinely useful too because you can shorten it for smaller spaces or lengthen it depending on what you’re doing. Small thing but it makes a difference when you’re trying to get a cat interested without knocking stuff over.
Jade is a senior cat and she doesn’t really go hard on toys anymore but this one she actually engaged with and I think it’s because it requires me to be involved. There’s something about the wand format that turns it into more of a bonding thing than just a toy sitting on the floor waiting for her to care about it. She was into it in a way she hasn’t been with a lot of the other stuff I’ve tried lately.
My final verdict on the Meohui cat wand
For value I genuinely don’t think you can beat this. Two wands, a ton of attachments, bells, feathers, the works. If your cat is being stubborn about it apparently a little catnip on the attachments helps too.
It’s on Amazon and I’d recommend it for pretty much any cat regardless of age.
